Power Support HD Anti-glare film vs. Invisible Shield

Power Support USA recently released their line of protective films…
http://www.powersupportusa.com/

the invisible shield after only one month of use. first you get fuzzy edges and then one day a full lift and a fuzzy corner… so sh*tty!

the invisible shield makes a good lint collector before applying the power support film.

the power support hd anti-glare on the left and the invisible shield on the right. notice the dimply texture of the invisible shield which makes the phone look and feel really cheap.

almost a perfect lay, except for the areas with residue left over from the invisible shield.

no more rainbow artifacts like power support’s previous films! now if they would only update the rest of their line up.

artifacts on the non hd antiglare film.

most images shot with a Canon EOS 5D MKII w/ a 24-70mm f/2.8L and flipped in Apple’s Aperture 3.

  1. Hey bro, what you mean by “No more rainbow artifacts” for this HD Anti Glare film? I’m currently puzzling over Crystal or Anti-Glare haha.

  2. the old films would add a layer of noise similar to that found on high iso digital images. its annoying at first, but you quickly get used to it. however, i’m still hoping that powersupport upgrades the rest of their line.

  3. Is this available in Canada? I can’t seem to find anyone that will send other than Powersupport themselves…and shipping is $30 so it’s not worth it.

  4. not sure. are they available at the apple store? i know they carry some of their other products. i picked up my films at power support’s burbank store before heading up to the vancouver release. some of their products can be hard to find, some of which i had to bring back from tokyo, but well worth it. from my experience, they are the best.

  5. @Aj … I think Amazon.ca sells it via a 3rd party vendor in California. The listing seems to suggest no extra shipping charges other than the basic product cost ($15.29 for a 2 film pack, $19.79 for a 3-pack). Not sure how accurate that is though.

  6. Do the crystal clear ones for the iPhone 4 cancel the artefacts, or is it just the anti-glare matt ones that do that?

Where can you get the 3-pack in UK (or in fact ANYWHERE in Europe), as most of the Power Support range are not in the Apple Store?

Thanks in advance for for any help.
