Matte Black iPhone 4
I really don’t care for glossy black gadgets. Lucky for me, my friend who has access to a laser cutter doesn’t like them either…

the template cut on scrap paper. we were able to cut a pretty accurate cover and might attempt two circles for the cam/light instead of the teardrop. will post the cad file soon.

the first attempt using power support anti-glare material. not very clean with burnt edges that tend to lift. will need to offset the edge a half mm on the next run.

all images shot with a Canon EOS 5D MKII w/ a 24-70mm f/2.8L and flipped in Apple’s Aperture 3.

I just got a iPhone 4 for myself and am struggling to find a good cover. would be curious to see how your cover turns out! keep me posted while I hold the iPhone so carefully everywhere I take it ;)
    hope all’s well
