description:
The City and Greenery. It’s a dynamic relationship changing day to day.
In this urban quarter fertile with cultural attractions and bursting with the vitality of its cosmopolitan ambience,
a community has grown and blossomed from seeds of nature sown as its founding.
Here in ARK HILLS where this unique symbiosis of City and Greenery flourishes,
I have tried to draw on my insights as a floral artist that have taken me around the world,
and created a bridge of green to symbolize how the gulf between urban life and Nature has been spanned.
The gentle curve of this belt of green evokes the image of a wave about to break.
With the media of greenery, I have sketched organic curves inspired
by the shape of chiorophyllic mechanisms that are at the heart of plant cells.
In this piece, you will encounter an exceptional variety of plant varieties.
Their cells hungry to receive light and water send out roots and spread their branches.
With every visit to the Karajan Plaza, you will witness new changes in this green
and living objet d’art as it transforms in anticipation of spring.
